The Brooklyn Museum Making Great Use of Podcasting (or at least it used to)

by Brendan Clancy on March 28, 2012

While the content is not exactly current, the Brooklyn Museum has a podcast page with some great recordings. We could all use a little more culture in our lives, but sometimes it’s not easy to fit that panel discussion on figurine artwork from the Neolithic Period of anceint Mesopotamia into our Google Calendars.

While the earliest content on the page is from 2009, the Brooklyn Museum has taken a lot of great recordings and posted them in podcast form. A weekly or even monthly podcast update on what’s going on at the museum as well as continuing to post recordings of exhibitions and discussions could be a great way for the museum to reach back out to the community.
